Octavio Ocampo Paintings

Octavio Ocampo (born 28 February 1943 in Celaya, Guanajuato, Mexico) is a Mexican surrealist painter. He grew up in a family of designers, and studied art from early childhood. At art school, Ocampo constructed papier mache figures for floats, altars, and ornaments that were used during carnival parades and other festivals. In high school, Ocampo painted murals for the Preparatory School and the City Hall of Celaya. Ruth Rivera, daughter of artist and muralist Diego Rivera, and Maria Luisa Mendoza encouraged him to attend the School of Painting and Sculpture of the National Fine Art Institute.

The talents of Octavio Ocampo are not limited to painting and sculpture, but also extended to acting and dancing. At the Art Institute of San Francisco, he studied all these disciplines and pursued both a film and theater career. In 1976, he began to devote himself solely to painting and sculpture. He now works primarily in the metamorphic style – using a technique of superimposing and juxtaposing realistic and figurative details within the images that he creates.

Australian artist Graeme Gerken (Graham Gercken) draws a vivid and charming paintings showing all the beauty of a little green continent of North America. An interesting fact is that most of the work done by the author in the studio and not in the open air.
Nature Australia and North America is quite diverse, which allows Gerkenu Graham (Graham Gercken) continually experiment and find a new future for their paintings. He prefers to paint with oil on canvas. His work is very much reminiscent of the classics of impressionism. And the most interesting thing is that Graham - the usual self-taught, and has not received any professional education. Edith Piaf - Padam

Hon retro,
benefit or harm you?
Breath of wind
you brought us?

What the curves of fashion?
Time has gone mad:
grandmother's chest of drawers
in block climb home!

l2.jpg

Things unearthly form,
chandeliers, jewelry boxes, wall lamps.
Copper pratelefony,
kettles - is also "great."
Hundreds of different curiosities,
poluponyatny life.
Again gramophone horn
us about love croaks ...

This, of course, fun,
it is - a game, but behind it
I hear the echo of a long
some quiet days.
Nesuetlivy, soon,
aged like wine ...

People are looking for support
that was long ago.
Where problems are smaller
(If so ever!).
Where machines - smaller,
where the authenticity of - years.
Where they do not flicker,
where light and warmth ...
Past calms
in that it has passed.
However, it is humility ...

For palisade stakes
Hon Retro
and this will be the century.

This - the crazy, detailed,
hunted like a horse,
atomic, electronic
or some other!

... Somebody, among other things,
say about our years:
"All the time it was easier ...
Lord, we would like that! .. "
